That's true Lis. If we don't have enough physical energy to keep us through the day, nothing else really matters. We won't be able to take action that helps us reach our goals.

I'd put health at the top of the list. I've been falling of with my morning exercise, but if your health goes everything else crumbles.

Hey Phil, I agree. Some people work better waking up at 6 AM, while others work better at 2 AM. It all depends on which part of the day you seem to have the most energy. Thanks for that extra input.

Hulbert -

I think your list of five is right on point, well done! On the time front, there is lots of research that suggests we should work with our natural bioryhythms and ride our energy wave during the day. If your rhythm means you are an owl rather than a lark, it is better to work later in the day when your energy is highest. Great stuff!

I totally agree Steven. Neglecting one area can often pull another area down. A lack of training in mental health can negatively affect physical health and vice versa. As for those people you know who feel a lack of zest in life, I don't think you want to shake them, but just give them a heads up if you can. ;)

Exactly Chris, simple things like walking can have tremendous benefits to our health. But most people will neglect it because it's not something that's hyped up such as a Tai Bo workout program.

Hi Fatibony, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your friend's website. I think a lot of people don't see blogging as something serious, so it's left as a second priority or not a big priority at all. It does take a lot of work to make a blog successful and it could be done, but like you say, managing time is a big part of it. If she wants to get paid though per article then I do suggest freelancing. It is more stable than blogging. Good luck!

Hulbert - you are so right. If we neglect any one of these things we are going to be off-keel, and that can have a rippling effect into all areas of our life. The bad thing is I know so many people who don't know how to manage time nor their mental + physical health. I see the suffering in their eyes - their lack of any zest for life - and I just wish I could shake them and say, "Wake up and start leading the life you really want!"

Thanks for your great info. I agree with you. After all health is important. Sometimes it is the simplest things that are good for us. But many times some things seem so simple that we don't believe them. Exercise is one of those things

Thanks Hulbert, each one of these steps holds water in our life’s but the one that screams most at me is Time. Obviously with Time well managed we should have plenty of it to cover the other steps. I just came of the phone following a long conversation with a friend who had left her website stagnant for a while , tried to encourage her but all I kept hearing was I don’t have time .. She sounded tried drained, didn’t think I should push her any longer but may suggest your idea of re- article writing ...
